Terms of Service
Last updated 2 August 2026
These terms are a working draft prepared for launch. They have not been reviewed by counsel. Have a lawyer review them before you take live payments.
These Terms govern your use of stockpilot-ai.com and the StockPilot AI service (the "Service"), operated by StockPilot Technologies LLC ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. What the Service is — and is not
The Service publishes quantitative and AI-assisted equity research on an automated schedule. We are a publisher, not a Registered Investment Adviser or a broker-dealer. We do not give personalised investment advice, hold your funds, or execute trades. See our Publisher's Disclaimer, which forms part of these Terms.
2. Accounts
- You must be at least 18 and able to form a binding contract.
- You must give an email address you control. Sign-in is by emailed link or Google — anyone with access to your inbox can access your account, so secure it.
- One account per person. Accounts are for your own use and may not be shared, resold, or used by multiple people.
- You are responsible for everything done through your account.
3. Subscriptions, billing and renewals
- Paid plans are billed monthly in advance through Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Cancel any time from your account's billing portal; access continues to the end of the period you have paid for.
- Where a plan includes a free trial, the trial length is stated on the pricing page. You will be charged when it ends unless you cancel first.
- We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice to the email on your account. Changes never apply to a period already paid for.
- Charges are non-refundable except where required by law or at our discretion. If you believe you were billed in error, contact support@stockpilot-ai.com.
- Failed payments may result in suspension of paid features. Your account reverts to the free tier; it is not deleted.
4. Acceptable use
You may use the Service for your own research and investment decisions. You may not:
- Redistribute, resell, republish or syndicate our reports, scores or data to anyone else, in any form, without written permission.
- Scrape, crawl, or bulk-download the Service, or circumvent any access control, rate limit, or tier restriction.
- Share your account credentials, session, or API key with anyone else.
- Use the Service to build a competing product or to train a model on our output.
- Use the Service unlawfully, or in a way that degrades it for others.
5. API
API access is included with the plans that state it. Keys are personal, must be kept secret, and are subject to the published daily request limits. We may revoke a key that is shared, abused, or used to circumvent limits.
6. Intellectual property
The Service, our reports, our scoring models, and all associated content are owned by StockPilot Technologies LLC and protected by copyright. Your subscription grants a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use them for your own purposes while your subscription is active. Underlying public data (for example SEC filings) is not owned by us.
7. Availability
We aim to keep the Service available and current, but we provide it "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. Data may be delayed, incomplete, or wrong. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, StockPilot Technologies LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any lost profits or investment losses, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. You are solely responsible for your investment decisions.
9. Termination
You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these Terms. On termination your licence ends immediately; provisions that by their nature survive (ownership, liability, disclaimers) continue to apply.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be notified by email or in the Service at least 30 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept them.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
